  1. I love Jessica Stam so much, and she’s just wonderful in this editorial. I love her hair and her dark lipstick! This shoot is very 70s indeed, but somehow still relevant.

  2. all very nice but would be just as good without the smoking. It is unfortunate that the fashion industry still portrays it as something glamorous when it really isn’t.

  3. Smoking may not be glamorous, but it does evoke a mood and it is part of some people’s lifestyles. I’m getting a bit of a sense of ennui from Stam here, and I find that the smoking is part of that unrequited anxiety.

  5. Stam can do no wrong

She can look fabulous with ANY hair color/style, ANY make up or none, and every piece of clothing ever made would probably look like a million dollars on her. Well done!

  6. Curves is played with a bit too much in certain sections of this editorial, but I love it, even with the smoking – it wouldn’t have the same feel without it. I don’t think of it as sexy at all actually here, I think of it as adding a certain retro atmosphere, back before people knew smoking was awful.
